Transparency in Health Plan Coverage
The Transparency in Coverage Rule is intended to make health care prices public and requires employers with self-funded employee medical plans to post machine readable file links on their public website. At this time, the files are not required to be in a format that can be read by plan participants, but instead should be accessible to government agencies, researchers and data analytic firms.
