As interest in high pressure processing as a food safety and preservation method skyrockets, Jeff Williams, CEO of Avure Technologies, has joined other leaders in the HPP field to form an industry HPP council to develop and formalize best practices and address questions about HPP in the marketplace.
“In this age where consumer choice is critical, HPP is a cost-effective method for processors to maintain taste, texture and nutrition while providing the clean label consumers are looking for,” said Williams. “This council will be a great way to share information about the benefits of HPP with producers, processors, and consumers.”
